About Me
My name is Nuno Sousa, and I am a Professional Coach based in Lisbon, Portugal. For over twenty years I worked in multinational companies leading sales teams, developing people, and creating customer-focused strategies. Along the way, I trained as a Professional Coach, NLP Practitioner, and Happiness & Wellbeing Coach, with a strong focus on emotional intelligence and human-centered growth.
Today, through my project Coach em Caminho (“Coach on the Way / Coach en Camino”), I support individuals and organizations in gaining clarity, balance and confidence. My approach combines structured reflection, conscious breathing and movement - often taking coaching outdoors in walk-and-talk sessions where the body and mind align naturally.
Breathing has always been a central practice in my work with clients, and the Oxygen Advantage method gave me the science, structure and techniques to bring this to a deeper level. I use the principles of functional and performance breathing both as stand-alone practices and as tools integrated into coaching sessions. Clients learn to manage stress, regulate focus, and access greater resilience - key skills to thrive in today’s world.
I teach in Lisbon and across Portugal, and I also work online with national and international clients. I especially enjoy working with professionals in transition, leaders who want to combine performance with wellbeing, and individuals who feel ready to slow down, reconnect with themselves and move forward with more clarity and confidence.
For me, the Oxygen Advantage is not only about breathing. It is about creating space for presence, energy and purposeful action.
