About Me
Jackie brings a wealth of knowledge from a combination of both her formal education and her experiences as an elite level athlete. Competing on the world stage in martial arts for over a decade since age thirteen, brought forth a drive and dedication to optimal health and performance. These attributes lead Jackie to numerous national and world martial arts championship titles.
Experiencing countless injuries as a national level athlete ignited Jackie's passion to teach optimal movement patterns. Her keen attention to detail has allowed her to excel both personally and professionally. A dedicated commitment to her craft and helping others to master movement as a skill, inspired Jackie to start KINnected Training in 2013. Since then, she has helped numerous people from elite athletes to geriatrics, improve their health and performance, and to overcome acute and long-term debilitating injury, through functional movement skills, and strength and conditioning.
She implements a holistic approach to fitness, rehabilitation, strength and conditioning, and nutrition. Jackie lives in Niagara Region with her husband and beloved lab Bowser.
