Steve Peck is a UK-based psychotherapist and certified breathing instructor, whose professional journey is deeply rooted in his personal experiences with mental health. Raised in an “open door” family that fostered over 50 children, Steve developed a profound understanding of human potential from an early age. His career then took him to the stage, where he gained valuable experience in communication and connection. These diverse experiences have shaped his commitment to empowering individuals and organisations to thrive.
Throughout his career as a therapist, Steve has taught people nasal, exhale-emphasised breathing, making the integration of the Oxygen Advantage into his practice a natural progression. His holistic approach to mental health has always focused on lowering emotional arousal to support individuals in meeting their needs.
The Oxygen Advantage breathing techniques further allow Steve’s clients to achieve optimal mental and physical balance by managing stress and trauma, improving focus and enhancing emotional regulation. His approach is grounded in the Human Givens’ organismic needs and resources model, which he sees as fundamental to human wellbeing and the realisation of potential. Additionally, Steve integrates the Gottman Method for couples, offering a comprehensive mind-body framework that fosters both personal growth and relationship resilience.
Steve is passionate about health and longevity, focusing on practices that enhance both physical and mental resilience. While many of his clients attend in-person sessions in Woodbridge, Suffolk, or Shoreditch, London, he also works with individuals and organisations online, including internationally, offering both flexible one-to-one sessions and tailored corporate programmes that address the unique challenges companies face. Using evidence-based techniques, Steve helps clients achieve greater mental, emotional and physical clarity.
