Dr. Dan is a General Practitioner with over 20 years of experience in mind-body medicine, bringing a unique blend of clinical expertise and holistic wellness to his breathwork practice. As a Certified Breathwork Facilitator specialising in Conscious Connected Breathwork, in addition to his Oxygen Advantage Instructor Certification he has helped countless patients and clients transform their breathing to manage anxiety, stress, and digestive health, while also enhancing relaxation, wellbeing, and fitness performance.
His journey into breathwork arose from a lifelong interest in whole-body medicine coupled with a desire to find simple, evidence-based techniques that help people move out of their heads where so much stress resides, and into their bodies, allowing for deeper relaxation and the release of old patterns. The Oxygen Advantage method integrates seamlessly with his medical practice, providing scientifically-grounded functional breathing techniques that complement his work in conscious connected breathwork and performance breathing. This combination allows him to address everything from everyday stress management to athletic performance optimization with practical, accessible tools.
