I practiced the techniques of OA and added them to my own training, I found I was less gassed, and recovery improved right off the bat. My priority in coaching now is teaching breathing, strength through movement (I am an Animal Flow certified coach), mobility and optimising clients breathing patterns and mechanics to improve their health and wellbeing. I have been working with local mental health charities and MacMillan Cancer Jersey. When clients start to change their breathing to mostly nasal, everything improves. More energy, better sleep, better recovery in training is just a few. I am continuing to improve my knowledge of the chemistry of breathwork, it really is my favourite subject now.
Breath really is the life force!
I teach in the Channel Islands, United Kingdom. As I have many years of competitive sport from Brazilian Jiujitsu to Powerlifting I would like to aim teaching the breathing techniques at fighters (BJJ/MMA), but I have coached people from all walks of life. I like to do face to face coaching, but if you are unable to, of in a different country, I am happy to use Zoom to coach a session.
