Adahra Poasa

I am currently pursuing my Doctorate in Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine, deepening my understanding of holistic health practices. My journey into breathwork began during my time as a competitive distance runner in a NCAA Division 1 Program. I faced respiratory challenges that impacted my performance, and traditional asthma medications provided limited relief. Seeking alternative solutions, I discovered the Oxygen Advantage method. Working with a certified instructor, I learned to become a "functional breather", which not only improved my athletic performance but also alleviated performance anxiety and asthma-related symptoms.

Inspired by this transformative experience, I became a certified breathwork instructor to help other athletes overcome similar challenges. I blend my knowledge of Eastern and Western physiology to offer effective breathing techniques that enhance performance and well-being.

Now based in San Diego, CA, I offer online breathwork sessions tailored to individuals seeking to improve their athletic performance, manage asthma symptoms and reduce anxiety. I am committed to guiding clients toward optimal health and performance through personalized breathwork practices.
