About Me
Dr Alexandre Fontaine is the director of coachingmental.ch in Montreux (Switzerland) and a Mental Performance Coach specializing in executive leadership and high-pressure decision-making environments. With over ten years of academic experience, he developed a deep understanding of the cognitive and emotional demands placed on leaders operating at the highest levels.
He trained in Positive Psychology with Tal Ben-Shahar (Harvard University), and further refined his expertise in mental performance coaching with Brian Cain and Pier Gauthier.
Through his work with CEOs, senior executives, diplomats, academic leaders and athletes, Alexandre identified a common challenge: sustained performance is often undermined by chronic stress, cognitive overload, and emotional fatigue. Central to addressing these challenges is the ability to regulate one’s nervous system—starting with breathing. The Oxygen Advantage method (BODY-MIND-SPORT) provides a powerful, evidence-based framework that Alexandre integrates into executive coaching. By combining mental performance strategies with targeted breathing techniques, he helps leaders and athletes improve focus, emotional regulation, decision-making clarity, and long-term resilience.
Alexandre works internationally, both in person and online, supporting leaders in developing sustainable high performance by mastering their mental skills, physiological responses, and capacity to perform under pressure.
