About Me
As a Certified Buteyko Breathing Practitioner, Oxygen Advantage Advanced Level Trainer, Certified Orofacial Myofunctional Specialist and former professional opera singer, I help people from all walks of life improve their breathing and overall health and wellbeing with a unique blend of breathing retraining techniques and orofacial myofunctional therapy. Breathing habits are directly linked to facial muscles such as tongue rest posture and lip strength. The combination of these therapeutic areas has afforded my clients success and relief from symptoms of anxiety/panic, sleep apnea, snoring, ADHD and other areas where breathing dysfunction can impede health and performance.
As a niche area, I work with singers who experience challenges such as pain, restriction, difficulties with high notes, breath support and more. I offer a highly specialized vocal technique which incorporates traditional orofacial myofunctional therapy with specialized functional voice techniques. My OMT Focused Voice Lessons technique is also available to teachers whose students manifest with such symptoms and wish to learn more about how to best help them.
All therapeutic areas I offer focus on retraining the body’s natural breathing patterns and restoring balance to the sympathetic and parasympathetic nervous systems. These gentle, non-invasive techniques can boost focus, improve sleep, reduce anxiety, support the body’s natural functions, and contribute to overall wellbeing.
I bring to this work the same passion and dedication that once brought me to Carnegie Hall and the opera stage. It’s my joy now to help others reclaim their breath and revitalize their lives — on and off the stage.
