About Me
Easkey Britton is an award-winning author, big wave surfer, and a practitioner of nature-based therapeutic approaches with a PhD in Environment and Society. Her background spans elite performance, environmental engagement, and embodied wellbeing. Easkey first came to breathwork through her experiences surfing powerful, unpredictable waves, where the ability to regulate breath, remain calm under pressure, and respond skillfully to fear can be the difference between panic and presence. Working with breath became a vital tool for staying grounded in challenging environments, building resilience, and cultivating trust in the body.
Through this lived experience, Easkey integrates Oxygen Advantage principles into her work, combining functional breathing, nervous system regulation, and mindful awareness with nature connection and somatic practices. Her teaching focuses on helping people improve breathing efficiency, manage stress and anxiety, enhance performance, and reconnect with their innate capacity for calm and adaptability. She brings a trauma-aware, compassionate approach that emphasizes safety, self-regulation, and working with the rhythms of the natural world.
Easkey is based on the northwest coast of Ireland and teaches both face-to-face and online, offering one-to-one sessions, group workshops, public speaking and retreats. She works with a wide range of clients, including members of the general public seeking better stress management and wellbeing, surfers and outdoor athletes facing high-pressure environments, and individuals drawn to nature-based and embodied approaches to healing. She is particularly passionate about working with people who feel disconnected from their breath, bodies, or sense of belonging, supporting them to build resilience, confidence, and a deeper relationship with themselves and the world around them.
