About Me
Emeric Rabot is a French multidisciplinary dance artist, educator, and researcher working at the intersection of artistic practice and dance science. He first trained extensively in ballroom and urban styles before completing his professional dance education at P.A.R.T.S. (BE). As a performer, he has collaborated with choreographers international choreographers in Belgium, Switzerland, Mozambique and Cuba. Alongside his performing career, he works as a movement director for dance and theatre productions across Europe.
His pedagogical approach, FULL, is rooted in over a decade of experience with improvisation-based practices, and functions both as a training method and a research framework. It supports the development of presence and creativity through adaptability and physical readiness, enabling risk-taking in response to the unpredictable demands of performance environments. His interest in breathing developed through both meditation practice and his studies
in dance science at the University of Bern (CH), particularly focusing on recovery and regulation strategies under pressure. Breathing is at the centre of his work; he offers practical tools to enhance focus, resilience, and both physiological and body awareness. While breathing work is grounded in performance contexts, it is equally central to his work in dance-for-health settings, where he collaborates with diverse populations, including asylum seekers, older adults, and people living with Parkinson’s and MS.
Emeric teaches internationally through workshops, group classes, and individual sessions, both in-person and online, working with performing artists, athletes, as well as individuals seeking to develop more efficient, self-regulated, and resilient habits through the breath.
