About Me
My work is built on a simple belief: when we change the way we breathe, we change the way we think, feel, move and perform.
My professional background began as an international dressage competitor and horse trainer, I have spent 25 years coaching, mentoring and supporting people to perform under pressure. I hold an MSc in Sports Coaching and am a British Dressage Level 4 Coach, Mentor, Youth and Para Coach and Advanced Oxygen Advantage Coach.
I became fascinated by what separates potential from performance and time and again, I found that the biggest barriers were rarely physical ability alone, but the effects of stress, anxiety and the body’s response to pressure. That curiosity led me to functional breathing.
Today I combine my experience in performance coaching with evidence-based breath retraining to help people gain greater control over their physiology, enabling them to feel calmer, think more clearly and perform at their best.
My work includes supporting nervous flyers, anxious equestrians, professionals experiencing workplace stress, people struggling with sleep, breathing for pain management and anyone whose anxiety or performance worries are preventing them from living the life they want.
There is never a one-size-fits-all approach to my coaching. I believe in understanding the individual first, using curiosity, careful assessment and practical strategies to create a personalised plan that fits their goals, lifestyle and challenges.
Having experienced the benefits of functional breathing myself, I know how profoundly it can influence physical health, emotional wellbeing and performance, breathing provides a practical starting point for lasting change.
My goal is simple: to help people breathe better so they can live, perform and enjoy life with greater confidence, resilience and freedom.
