About Me
Hello! My name is Lotte (1982). I started teaching hatha yoga in 2024 after practicing for over 15 years. After integrating meditation into my habits, my understanding of yoga moved away from being only a physical practice to a gradual understanding of and a way into the intricate workings of the mind and how those two are inextricably linked.
A long struggle with fatigue (because of endometrioses, ADHD and forcing myself in a way of life that was detrimental to my health and joy) made me search for ways to master my energy and stress levels. I already experienced the power of breath as an anchor during meditation, the calming effects of nadi shodhana and the invigorating results of kapalabhati. It made sense to enroll in a classical, science backed Pranayama training, but once finished, I felt the need for a more accessible way to integrate and teach these amazing techniques - then someone suggested OxygenAdvantage for Yoga.
Nose breathing and pranayama have transformed my energy, mental state and outlook on life. I’ve integrated them in my own practice, my teaching, my running and hiking - I even designed a yoga and breath series for hiking! One amazing aspect is my ability to stand in front of a group with much more ease and pleasure. Another nice side effect is that the practice has greatly improved my singing voice as well.
This training enables me to help you if you’re struggling with any of the above, other mental and stress-related issues, as well as basic breath training for general health, hiking and yoga asana practice.
