About Me

I am Nuria Landete — a soul in perpetual motion, driven by an unquenchable hunger to learn, grow, and understand what it truly means to be alive in a body.
Dance found me before I found it. Since childhood, movement has been my lenguage — the place where words fall away and I simply am. As a teenager, I competed professionally in Acrobatic Rock 'n' Roll, one of the most physically demanding dance disciplines that exists. But there was a price: I developed exercise-induced asthma. Every performance ended with coughing, tightness, the terrifying feeling of not being able to breathe. I wish I had known then what I know now.
While studying Agricultural Engineering at university, I kept dancing — and teaching. For years I walked two parallel lives: engineer by day, dance teacher by heart. Until life, as it tends to do, asked me to choose.
After a period of profound reinvention, I left engineering behind and gave myself permission to rebuild. I traveled to Bali for a month — not as a holiday, but as a search. There, I reconnected with Yoga, which had been a quiet companion for years but now called me forward with something deeper. I came home certified as a Yoga instructor, and I have been teaching ever since.
My fascination with the human body led me further: into Yoga Biomechanics and Fascial Systems, into understanding how posture, tissue, and movement are all one continuous conversation. I began guiding people — in studios and in corporations — not just in posture or flexibility, but in breathing as a tool for calming the nervous system, quieting mental noise, and reclaiming presence. I taught Pranayama with devotion. But something in me kept listening for more.
Then I discovered Oxygen Advantage.
It was the missing piece. Suddenly the science and the soul of breathing were speaking the same language — and I could understand both. The physiology behind what I had always felt intuitively. The biochemistry beneath the stillness. A complete map where before I had only fragments.
Today, together with my partner — a specialist in martial arts and emotional intelligence coaching — I co-founded the Escuela de Respiración para Deportistas (ERD), the Breathing School for Athletes. We work with competitive athletes to optimize not just their physical performance, but their emotional regulation, mental resilience, and quality of life. We bring together the precision of Oxygen Advantage methodology and the depth of our combined personal journeys to offer something rare: truly personalized accompaniment for the athlete who wants to compete — and to live — at their highest level.
Movement taught me to breathe. Science taught me why. Now I teach both.
