About Me
I am a breath coach based near Penrith, Cumbria, bringing together science-informed functional breathing, the Oxygen Advantage method, and person-centred breathwork to support people seeking calm, clarity, resilience, and performance.
My path into this work grew from lived experience. After a career in sales and management across the commercial and third sectors, alongside more than a decade as an ultra-distance and fell runner, I experienced burnout that significantly disrupted my physical and mental health. Recovery has been, and continues to be, non-linear, but one constant has been breathwork.
As a father to two young primary school-aged boys, I’ve also learned firsthand the importance of nervous-system regulation, sustainable energy, and accessible practices that support everyday life. Exploring breathwork more deeply showed me how powerful functional breathing, nervous-system support, and simple, consistent techniques can be.
As an Oxygen Advantage Advanced Instructor, I also draw on extensive training in conscious connected breathwork with Alchemy of Breath and, more recently, Harmonic Breathwork with Aria Breath. I now facilitate 1:1 Harmonic Breathwork and group sessions, bringing a grounded, relational approach that integrates naturally with the Oxygen Advantage framework. These sessions use specially composed music from Aria Breath to support deeper regulation, emotional release, and restorative states. In addition, I support recovery and wellbeing through my role as a floatation therapy facilitator at The Health Barn in Askham, Penrith.
I primarily work in person at The Health Barn and offer online sessions where appropriate. My coaching is highly person-centred: I work with individuals recovering from burnout, managing stress or anxiety, seeking better sleep, or improving performance — whether sporting or career-related — as well as those looking to reconnect with their bodies or build emotional and nervous-system resilience. Rather than target specific groups, I focus on fit, beginning with a 1:1 conversation to ensure my approach aligns with each person’s needs, goals, and readiness. My role is to guide, support, and empower people to move forward, one breath at a time.
