About Me
Breathing, movement and learning are at the heart of my work.
I am a certified Functional Breathing Instructor through The Oxygen Advantage and a sports educator with several years of experience teaching and coaching young people and adults in Germany and El Salvador.
My passion for functional breathing grew from my own experiences in sports and the water. As an active Beachvolleyball player, runner, surfer, and freediver, I have experienced firsthand how efficient breathing can improve performance, focus, recovery, and the ability to remain calm in demanding situations. Whether during a long run, in the moments before a serve, while holding my breath underwater, or during a challenging surf session, breathing has become one of the most powerful tools in my training.
Through my work as an instructor, I try to help athletes and all other individuals develop healthier and more functional breathing patterns, improve carbon dioxide tolerance, optimize recovery, and build greater resilience to physical and mental stress. My approach combines scientific principles with practical exercises that can be applied immediately in sport and everyday life. I don't think I have the answer to every situation, but I see them as possibilities to learn together with anyone, who is motivated to give functional breathing a try.
A special focus of my work is the integration of Oxygen Advantage principles into youth sports and physical education. I am particularly interested in making breathing training accessible, engaging, and beneficial for children and adolescents. By incorporating functional breathing into school sports programs and club training, I aim to help young athletes develop better movement quality, concentration, self-regulation, and long-term health from an early age.
I am especially passionate about applying breathing techniques in endurance sports, team sports, surfing, swimming, freediving, and other water-based activities. I also enjoy helping people discover how improved breathing can enhance confidence, composure, and enjoyment both in sport and in everyday life.
My goal is simple: to help people unlock the potential of their breath and use it as a tool for better health, performance, and well-being.
