Oxygen Advantage has given me a deeper knowledge and understanding of the body’s capabilities psychologically scientifically and physically over the past 10 years.
In 2013 after an accident that left me with permanent facial scaring and damage to my nasal cavities, nasal and breathing problems arose such as sinus infections, trouble sleeping, panic attacks, migraines and the basic inability to control my nasal cavities for many years. I turned to breath work such as Oxygen Advantage to help with the discomfort change in appearance work thought the procedures and difficult situations that followed.
It has helped me to dissolve overwhelm, train, heal through trauma and become more aware to seek out the pause/reset button to simply begin again.
With a passion for learning more about health and wellbeing, 2 years ago I made the conscious decision as a single mother to return to study and further my career becoming a yoga/meditation teacher, reiki practitioner and now an OA advanced Breath Coach.
Here again the breath was my main tool in discipline and concentration to juggle my daughter, full time work and study.
I am now using the effective breath work with my daughter at home and as a Yoga teacher believe it plays a massive role in connecting with the body and step back from constant flooding thoughts.
Meditation is not always assessable to all of us with busy lives day to day but breathing techniques from my experience has always been my anchor for grounding wherever I was.
I am now entering a new chapter in my career of becoming a TULSA Coach/ Wellness AMB and incorporating my knowledge and skills into the office environments.
We all can experience blockages followed by moments of clarity but the challenges we face can also be the rewards in our future. This is the magic of breath work and how it can change your patterns to release self-limiting beliefs. It’s available to us all in every moment.
