With over 25 years of expertise in pessary training, she has educated both medical professionals and patients worldwide, earning international recognition for her innovative contributions to pessary development—helping countless women avoid the need for surgery.
Driven by a deep understanding of the connection between breathwork and pelvic floor health, Gaynor sought to expand her knowledge to better support her clients.
Her journey began with Patrick McKeown’s The Breathing Cure, which inspired her to complete a certified breathing instructor course through YogaBody. Her passion for breathwork continued to grow as she trained under Oxygen Advantage Master Instructor David “Jacko” Jackson. This advanced training led Gaynor to become a certified Oxygen Advantage Advanced Breathing Instructor being trained by Prof. Patrick McKeown.
Gaynor integrates scientifically grounded breathwork into her fitness programs and professional education for healthcare providers, supporting improved outcomes for women with pelvic floor dysfunction, including prolapse, hypertonicity, incontinence, and trauma-related conditions. Her techniques are known to enhance physical performance, recovery, and overall well-being.
Her personal experience with long-COVID further reinforced her belief in the transformative power of breathwork. After struggling with breathlessness following her second infection, she successfully applied the techniques from The Breathing Cure to regain her strength and resume her teaching—without medication.
Gaynor is available for guest lectures, professional training, and both private and group sessions, offered online or in person, with a specialist focus on women’s health and pelvic floor function, not forgetting breathwork!
