I am a Personal trainer who is passionate about helping people live a healthy lifestyle. The way I coach people is embedded in my personal experience of balancing life and health. This includes knowledge gained from not just books, but my own journey of weight loss, weight gain, injuries, major surgeries, raising a family and the accompanying emotional roller coaster ride that comes with all of that. As a Personal Trainer I pull together everything I have learnt in the areas of resistance training, nutrition, breathing and postural correction through movement to give my clients a balanced solution to their needs.
I am based in Auckland, New Zealand and predominately work online with both group and one-on-one sessions.
Breathing has been the component that has brought everything together for me personally. After three major surgeries in as many years acute pain and damaged nerves was not just debilitating but soul crushing. After struggling to get up from my Chiropractors table he paused and taught me a breathing technique. That one interaction changed everything, and I haven’t looked back. I now incorporate Oxygen Advantage breath training into my client’s training and the feedback is exciting, the benefits gained from breathing better show up in unexpected ways.
