I’m an Oxygen Advantage functional breathing Instructor, Physiology First Leader, and qualified in Children and Young People’s Mental Health. I’m a mum to 3 soon to be teen boys, 2 of whom have complex special educational needs and disabilities. After experiencing the benefits of breathwork in my own life, I was inspired to make these tools more accessible to others — especially children, families, new parents, and SEND communities who are often overlooked, or find it hard to be included in the wellness space. My work is science-backed, practical, and adaptable, offering simple ways to bring the benefits of functional breathing into daily life through 1:1 sessions, group classes, and free community support.

When I first came across Breathwork, it was through my yoga teacher, who had trained in the Oxygen Advantage method. I remember trying the practice and being quite surprised — instead of feeling calm, I actually felt a wave of anxiety. It caught me off guard, because anxiety wasn’t something I usually experienced in my day-to-day life.

What did stay with me from that first session, though, was the importance of nasal breathing. Still, I wasn’t in a hurry to dive deeper into Breathwork after that experience.

Over the next year — I started noticing that the moments when I felt overwhelmed were really just quieter forms of anxiety. That’s when I decided to revisit my breathing, this time with curiosity instead of fear. I began working on my CO₂ tolerance and diaphragmatic breathing, and the changes were incredible — I felt calmer, healthier, and even noticed improvements in my athletic performance and recovery.

That’s why I’m so passionate about sharing the Oxygen Advantage now. It’s not just about breathing better; it’s about helping our bodies and minds find balance. And for anyone who’s ever felt anxious, overwhelmed, or just a bit “off,” this method can be a really powerful tool to come back to yourself.” Based in Carterton, West Oxfordshire, UK
