My passion for neuroscience drives me to integrate the latest research into my work. I believe strongly in the practice of mindfulness to improve thinking, focus and overall well-being. Understanding how the brain works is essential in implementing true change. Applying these principles helps people to feel more in control and less “crazy.” For years I have known the benefits of breathwork and the ability of the breath to change our body state. I have been searching for the right program to incorporate into my practice and was very excited when I found the Oxygen Advantage. It utilizes all the science and functional parts of breathing that I’ve wanted to bring to my clients without all the “fluff” of other breathing techniques.
I specializes in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance Commitment Therapy (ACT), Mindfulness Based Cognitive Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and Stress Reduction, Eye-Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR).
My practice is located in Boise, Idaho in the United States, but I am also licensed in Washington, Oregon, and Colorado. I am available for in person and virtual therapy as well. I work mainly with adults and first responders. Age range from 15 y.o. to 90 y.o.
