Growing up as a mouth breather who loved sports but hated running and how it made him feel, Ben found osteopathy and then the Buteyko method, which align beautifully. Over time, he worked hard to became a light, slow nose breather, (through manual therapy, myofunctional therapy, awareness, and the Buteyko method), and his life was impacted massively.
In person, when assessing and treating clients, he emphasizes the importance and powerful impact of regular functional movement as well as optimal breathing mechanics and habits.
Virtually, he offers breath assessment, education and re-training methods as a means to help people connect with the functionality of their brilliant bodies. This in turn can empower the individual to understand that when the body’s systems work harmoniously, the innate evolutionary potential for health and equilibrium is encouraged to take over; where health thrives and dysfunction cannot.
For anyone struggling with chronic sleep issues, low energy levels, congestion, mouth breathing, headaches/neck pain, digestive issues, recurrent respiratory illnesses, and so much more, the breath may be the key to unlocking how to move forward and out of such dysfunction.
