Despite the fulfillment this work brought me, the relentless challenges, including funding cuts and systemic inefficiencies, eventually led to burnout. Realizing the need for self-care, I took a sabbatical that steered my journey to Bali. It was there that I encountered the transformative power of holistic practices, particularly breathwork. From my very first session, I experienced an immediate shift—my mind slowed, my body synced, and I felt a profound sense of clarity and calmness wash over me.
This practice wasn’t just rejuvenating; it was revolutionary. Breathwork guided me to overcome physical ailments like asthma, nasal polyps and snoring caused by mouth breathing, and it equipped me to manage stress more effectively, eradicating my panic attacks, persistent anxiety and restless mind. More importantly, it allowed me to introspect deeply, giving me greater control over my thoughts and habits.
Driven by these life-altering benefits, I’ve spent the last three years deeply engrossed in studying and sharing the wonders of breathwork. I firmly believe that by tapping into our breath and understanding its impact, anyone can initiate significant and lasting changes in their life. Currently I finished the Functional Breathing Instructor training with Oxygen Advantage where I want to continue working with helping others improve their functional breathing as well as learn to use breath as a tool to tap into the nervous system.
