WHO AM I AND HOW DID I GET HERE:

I’ve been a dancer and choreographer for over 25 years.

I am the artistic director of Zut!, I was an assistant of artistic direction of Paulo Ribeiro Dance Company and I was the Body and Movement Dept’s Coordinator-teacher at the theatre school InImpetus for 10 years. I have a degree in dance and have complemented this with extensive training in several body techniques, including Corrective Movement and Fighting Monkey. I’m a certified teacher of Pilates Mat, Yoga (IYA), DNS (Dynamic Neuromuscular Stabilization), PBT (Progressing Ballet Technique), Kinesiological Stretching, Prenatal Yoga and Dance Anatomy.

I am a permanent student and a caring and curious person. My professional path began as purely artistic; over the years my interest in the body and the healthiest way to move it grew. As a natural result, I founded the Ballerina Body® method, a conscious mix of all these body techniques that have been helping to develop conscious bodies and minds of thousands of clients. I teach Ballerina Body® method, Yoga, Pilates, Expressive movement, and Contemporary dance techniques, all integrated with concient breathing.

I believe that correct breathing patterns and correct movement patterns

improve overall health. I was already incorporating biomechanical respiratory drills into my work. The opportunity to focus only on the breathing patterns, with Oxygen Advange guidelines is a great way to pursue a positive change for the optimal integration of mind and body and improving health. Therefore, I now also integrate biochemical and cadence respiratory aspects to optimize body oxygenation.

WHERE AM I AND FOR WHOM IS MY WORK

I teach mainly in Lisbon, Barreiro, and Odemira. I travel to teach in workshops and retreats. You can also find me online for group and private sessions. I work with people who want to move and feel better according to their specific conditions and goals, and who want to improve their posture, flexibility, stability, and strength. This applies both to the general public and professional athletes.
