Adam Lison was introduced to breath-work in 2019 as part of a Trauma Risk Management course. After serving 22 years in the Royal Marines Commandos and serving four operational tours in Afghanistan and Iraq Adam felt he needed to address his fellow Marines detreating mental health.

After leaving the military he started a Bowen Technique Practice and Brazilian Jiujitsu Academy, incorporating breathing techniques to downregulate and calm his clients and students.

After discovering the amazing benefits of breath-work he noticed a considerable improvement in his own performance both competing in Surfing and Brazilian Jiujitsu competitions. Breath-work also has had a considerable effect with his recovery and mental health. After being introduced to the Oxygen Advantage and already a Pranayama Instructor Adam felt that he could make a difference to other people by teaching these practices.

As an Oxygen Advantage advanced instructor Adam’s aim is to make breath-work and meditation accessible to the everyday person and eliminate the stigma that is associated with it.

With over 20 years of instructing and performing at an elite level in Brazilian jiujitsu and Surfing, and as former Physical Training Instructor within the Royal Marines Commando’s Adam has the skills and adaptability to cater for anyone’s needs and help spread the word of breath-work, meditation and a healthy mindset.

Adam conducts 1-1 online session, in-person 1-1 sessions and runs workshops and retreats.
The BreathWork Revolution sessions are focused on functional breathing within a Sports Performance Athletes, Recreational Sport enthusiasts or just improving health and well-being for people.

I practice and live in Lympstone Village, DEVON, United Kingdom.
