Catherine teaches the principles of the Oxygen Advantage online, or in-person. Catherine especially focuses on breathwork within the context of:
Health and wellness; Stress resilience, mental and physical performance, anxiety, sleep and energy.
Female health – the interplay of our breath and our natural hormonal changes, including PMS, the peri-menopause, exercise performance.
Catherine has been in the Health and Wellness industry for over 20 years, starting with completion of a BSc in Sport, Health and Exercise Science at Loughborough University. She went on to become a Senior Health and Wellbeing Physiologist in Health Assessments with Nuffield Health for more than 15 years.
Through her personal health experiences, Catherine has become passionate about the breath and to female physiology and has upskilled to support females especially:
Support healthy reproductive cycles for health (not just for having babies!), PMS, and tuning into our female cycle as an indicator of our health.
Support the transition through the peri-menopause and menopause.
Catherine is also a Functional Health Coach, trained with the Kresser Institute. A ‘functional approach’ looks to support you in your health path, giving focus to the foundations of health, rather than merely managing symptoms.
Coaching is a collaborative process to define and achieve your health goals; Exploring mindset, practical solutions and build knowledge about you and your health.
Catherine believes the breath is a powerful tool to create balance in the nervous system and provide clarity to understand ourselves better and create mental space for self-insight, enabling you to discover your strengths in order to achieve your personal health potential.
