When I moved to Europe solo in 2019 to pursue my hockey career, little did I know the impact it would have on my mental health. For the first time in my life, I was suffering from panic attacks, followed by many sleepless nights that would leave me unable to perform. It would be these sleepless nights that would lead me down a path of attempting to self regulate my nervous system. Self-regulation at the time was a phenomenon I was never aware of, the ability to bring homeostasis back into one’s nervous system specifically by manipulating the breath.

Growing up with Asthma, I felt robbed that I was never taught how to properly breathe, simply given a diagnosis and some steroids. In January, 2022 I was able to stop using my steroid inhaler and have since been able to focus on my own physiology, overcoming what was meant to be a lifelong condition. With immense practice and awareness of breath, paired with the knowledge of the Oxygen Advantage, I’m healthier than I’ve ever been. I went from wheezing my way through life to placing at an elite level in endurance events. I always thought I was in “elite shape” because of my years of summer hockey training. Little did I know that I was not even close to my full potential and my goal going forward is to help others reach theirs.

I coach everyone from the general public to professional athletes, both online and in person. This includes 1-on-1 as well as group sessions. Guiding you on how to regulate your nervous system, build CO2 tolerance/resilience, improve sleep and breathe less everyday. Because that is how you will get the most out of your life.
