My interest in breath work started due to my poor physical performance in Jiu Jitsu, I would always fatigue too soon no matter how fit I was and could not understand why. After implementing the Oxygen Advantage practices this has completely changed, I found that my previous efforts of trying to build fitness while I still had dysfunctional breathing was counterproductive.
I started a daily practice and very quickly the way my body responded to the demands of Jiu Jitsu improved, I became in control of my breathing and therefore energy utilisation. This has significantly impacted my overall performance and also my love for the art as just training sessions are much more enjoyable.
My interest now is to help other athletes in not only martial arts but in sports in general maximise their performance in their chosen field and gain the Oxygen Advantage.
