I am based in Edinburgh, Scotland.
I have been in the health and fitness industry since 2011 and it was in going through my own weight loss transformation that inspired me to become a personal trainer and help others do the same. I spent the initial part of my career working alongside older and far more experienced trainer’s which enabled me to learn from them and develop my own unique style.
As I gained more experience, I started to realise that I had an interest not only on how I could help my clients physically but also mentally as well. This is why I decided to become a yoga teacher, specialising in Yin yoga which is a very passive and relaxing style of yoga in which breathing mindfully is of vital importance. It was after this that I developed an interest in how much breathing can effect us mentally and emotionally as well as physically.
Through David “Jacko” Jackson I discovered the oxygen advantage. I’m glad I took the decision to become qualified with the Oxygen advantage as an advanced breath coach because the benefits have been fantastic. For myself and for my clients. The fact that something that is so accessible can have such a massive impact on our wellbeing is definitely one of the biggest discoveries I’ve made in my career to date.
