My name is Don Spencer, and I’m excited to help individuals/companies/teams incorporate Oxygen Advantage® into their daily routines so they might live healthier lives and/or compete optimally. I’ve always been interested in improving breathing techniques, not only for myself but for my family, friends and athletes with whom I coach in the arena of track & field. What created a “need” for understanding proper breathing was an asthmatic incident a family member experienced while rowing for a Division I varsity collegiate team. From there, I began researching for answers to help those in respiratory distress or simply those who just want to take control of their lives by taking control of their breathing.
I’ve been involved in organized athletics most of my life. I competed in Division I university track & field and have been a high school/college coach for three decades. I have also coached numerous athletes to track & field state championships (Illinois) and have had a multitude of athletes go on to compete on the university and international levels. Presently, I am a track & field coach in the Chicago suburbs (USA) where I implement proper breathing techniques for competitive athletes. I have also presented various scientific studies at track & field venues and on podcasts on the subjects of athlete sleep deprivation and overcoming limits neurotransmitters in the brain/central nervous system put upon any type of athletic performance.
I am excited to help you (in person or online) incorporate Oxygen Advantage® into your daily life! Let’s get to work on breathing properly, whether it be for you as an individual or for your group/company/team.
