Christine Carr

As a Physical Therapist and a yoga therapist, I've learned the value of using the breath to improve health and promote healing. My studies in both Buteyko and Oxygen Advantage have deepened my knowledge and helped me to leverage breathwork for improving performance. I own a cash-based physical therapy practice in Grand Junction, Colorado. Here, I work with clients with sports injuries, pre and post surgical clients, and also specialize in working with clients who have spinal dysfunction or deformities such as scoliosis.

My studies of spinal disorders have deepened my knowledge on how posture, muscle activation, and directed breathing can result in dramatic improvements in posture and a reduction in pain. I've also spent many hours diving into various breathing techniques through my yoga training.

Over the last 20 years, breathwork has helped me to improve mental clarity, emotional balance and focus. I am passionate about sharing my knowledge and skills to help others achieve their optimal physical and mental states through the transformative power of breath.
