Her holistic approach to orthodontics has resulted from over 15 years of experience and personal research, in contact with various world schools. It consists into an integrated approach of dental problems together with other issues related to the individual’s health status.

Dr. Banica’s whose dedication to the dental profession and devotion to his patients built the f for Dr. Banica’s passion for orthodontics.

She introduced in Romania the concept of functional orthodontics and its effect on healthy growth and development.

Dr. Banica’s philosophy of care is unique, prevention oriented and focuses on early intervention, minimally invasive treatment, and creation of healthy airway and beautiful faces. 

She specializes in a variety of treatments, including facial growth guidance and jaws development during childhood, invisible orthodontics and face remodeling through orthognatic surgery.

Dr. Banica studies regularly with national and international physicians and orthodontists to incorporate advances in health research into his practice and life.

Dr. Ela Banica brought the concept of functional orthodontics and was first to talk about its effects on growth and healthy development. She is the only medical specialist in her country for Airway Orthodontics, Myobrace, Buteyko Breathing, Myofunctional Therapy at The Ortho Institute, whose research verified the profound effect malocclusion and dental stress have on overall health.
