About Me
I am a fully qualified nutritional therapist (DipION, mBANT, CNHC), certified Oxygen Advantage® instructor and a certified HeartMath® coach.
I love to help my client’s regenerate and rejuvenate their health and energy to optimal levels through nutrition, breath work and heart rate variability coaching. I work closely with a local personal trainer and running club to improve their breathing function. I trained in the Oxygen Advantage Technique® because how we breathe is fundamental to achieving our full potential.
I advise clients on how to improve their nutrition to reduce inflammation and oxidative stress, lose weight or improve their energy and focus. As well as being influenced by our nutrition all of these metabolic processes are affected by how we breathe and its common for this to be dysfunctional. This is detrimental, physiologically, mentally and emotionally.
Retraining how we breathe throughout the day and during exercise can have a profound impact on how every system in the body functions as well as our energy and resilience. This is because of the deep connection between the way we breathe, our emotions and our heart all of which helps to regulate our autonomic nervous system. The way we breathe can also underpin muscoskeletal issues because the diaphragm is integral to core stability and functional movement.
