Keely Angel is a functional breathing, yoga, and self-myofascial release teacher based in Asbury Park, NJ. She first fell in love with breathwork practices in 2010 while studying pranayama. She began teaching yoga in 2012 and has since guided thousands of people of all ages and abilities. She has completed 500 hours of training in Anusara Yoga and the Abhaya Method, both rooted in Hatha yoga and emphasizing proper alignment for a movement practice that is safe, effective, and built for longevity.
She has experience working with diverse populations, including MMA fighters, corporate professionals, incarcerated youth, and veterans. Keely has studied trauma-informed care with experts like Bessel van der Kolk, Josh Korda, and Kimberly Ann Johnson. A self-proclaimed fascia nerd and certified Roll Model Method instructor, she loves incorporating self-myofascial release techniques into her sessions and classes.
Keely is passionate about functional breathing and has experienced firsthand how Oxygen Advantage methods enhance physical performance, mental clarity, and recovery. Through OA techniques and self-myofascial release, she helps students develop better interoception, as well as a foundational understanding of the mechanisms of breathing and how it influences performance, recovery, and well-being. Her coaching style is supportive and encouraging, helping students build a strong, intuitive connection with their bodies for long-term health and enjoyment.
