About Me
My name is Lorraine Hawick, I am an experienced Qigong instructor and wellness consultant based in Aberdeenshire, Scotland, with over 30 years of experience in the field of healthcare where I worked extensively as a clinical nurse before transitioning into medical education, teaching both undergraduate and postgraduate medicine. This extensive background has provided me with a deep understanding of the human body and the complexities of health and wellness.
My passion for holistic health led me to explore Qigong, an ancient Chinese Medicine practice that combines gentle movement, breathing techniques, and focused intention. I teach several in-person weekly Qigong group classes, support private clients, and provide Qigong and wellness consultancy services to the corporate sector. My passion is integrating traditional and modern health approaches to enhance physical and mental wellbeing.
The Oxygen Advantage® Functional Breathing Instructor Training programme has equipped me with advanced techniques to optimize breathing for better health and wellbeing. I plan to integrate these functional breathing techniques into my Qigong teaching and wellness consultancy, enhancing the benefits for my clients. By combining the principles of Oxygen Advantage with the ancient wisdom of Qigong, I aim to offer a comprehensive approach to health that addresses both the physical and mental aspects of wellbeing.
