Her love for movement started in childhood through ballet and cross-country running. While living in Australia, she discovered Pilates and quickly saw improvements in her posture, flexibility, and strength. After experiencing sports injuries, Margaret used Pilates to help her recover, restore healthy movement, and return to sports safely.
Her interest in breathwork grew after reading Breath by James Nestor and The Oxygen Advantage by Patrick McKeown. Inspired by these books, she trained as a Functional Breathing instructor. This training has helped improve her own running and has been beneficial in managing her son’s chronic rhinitis through breathing exercises.
Margaret continues to learn and explore new ways to help clients achieve better health through movement and breath. Outside of teaching, she enjoys running and wakesurfing.
