As a physical therapist, Michael has successfully incorporated the Oxygen Advantage program into a wide variety of patient treatment and rehabilitation programs for individuals who have presented with dysfunctional breathing issues that were adversely impacting their recovery from injury or illness. Exploring the power of breathwork to transform performance has been an exciting addition to individual care options during the rehabilitation and recovery process.
Education: Doctor of Physical Therapy in 2008 and Master of Science Degree in Physical Therapy in 1987 both from Arcadia University in Glenside, PA.
Licenses/Certifications: Licensed Physical Therapist State of New Jersey. Certified Athletic Trainer(ATC) through National Athletic Trainers Association(NATA), Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization, Open Water Scuba Diver, Functional Capacity Evaluator, CPR
With a willing mind and mindset, the Oxygen Advantage program can provide a transformative experience of how an individual relates to their breath as well as develop and utilize new skills to improve performance, achieve better balance, access flow, improve their sleep, focus and concentration and reduce pain.
Currently Michael is only working with patients who have been referred for outpatient physical therapy services for treatment of their orthopedic, sports or work-related injury and who concurrently demonstrate dysfunctional breathing habits. It is his hope that he will be able to expand access to the functional breathing program to individuals who are interested in improving their breathing performance.
