Ray Arreguin is a physical therapist and has been practicing since 2011 after graduating from Ohio University. His background lies in orthopedic and sports medicine, with extensive training in manual therapy. He achieved board certification in orthopedic physical therapy in 2014 and completed a manual therapy fellowship in 2019. He also spent several years teaching in an orthopedic residency. It was through his manual therapy fellowship program that a mentor introduced the concepts and benefits of breath work. Ray appreciated the benefits focused breath work had on his orthopedic patients. He has worked through different training programs, including the Oxygen Advantage. Ray makes breath work a part of his daily routine and has seen fantastic gains in his performance on the bike.

He teaches and treats in Portland, Oregon of the United States, where he co-owns a small physical therapy practice with his wife, Kana. Their clinic is Wildwood Physical Therapy. His clientele ranges from individuals seeking to improve their sleep, chronic pain, symptoms of asthma or the ability to function within their home, community, or sport. He has also worked with recreational and elite athletes looking to improve their performance, most specifically in the sports of cycling and running.
