My name is Rebecca, I’m a Physiotherapist, Health& Breath Coach from Germany (Bonn, NRW)
In 2020/21 I discovered Buteyko while I was traveling in Australia. I already had some experiences with different breathing techniques but to gain a deeper science-based understanding about the biochemistry and therapeutic aspects of breathing, I found Buteyko the most profound one. After I completed Buteyko I also became an Instructor for Oxygen Advantage to be able to work with athletes as well.
What fascinates me about breathing is, that it is the most underestimated habit we do. We all do it, most of us 12-16 times a minute, that’s about 960 times in an hour and 23.000 times a day. Of course, it has a huge impact on us but a lot of people don’t know and don’t pay attention to it. I’d like to change that. It’s a natural habit, it doesn’t cost us anything and we should realize that our breathing is our steering wheel for our daily life.
With focus on your breathing and practicing the right technique, you’ll influence your quality of life in a positive way, decrease your stress level and learn how to manage stress better. You’ll gain a better and deeper sleep and better exercise and recovery performances.
Once you have experienced it – you don’t want to go back without that deep connection to your breath. I’d love to be your guide on that journey, to help you become a better and healthier breather, so that you become a healthier and more relaxed version of yourself.
