Simon stepped onto his first offshore deepwater drilling rig, knowing nothing other than that no one could be more nervous than him.

Some 50 rigs later, covering some 25+ countries, he understands what delivers great outcomes and what will deprive an operation of achieving high performance that is safe and sustainable.

Since 2000, Simon has worked with multi-national organisations to deliver programs and initiatives that deliver change in high-risk work environments where safe performance is non-negotiable.

He has long been interested in breath work and the ability to think and act calmly under pressure. He has competed and medalled in national and international competition in swimming, surf lifesaving and surfing for 35+ years. He remains actively involved in sport as a coach and mentor.

Simon completed his Oxygen Advantage® Advanced Instructor training with the founder of Oxygen Advantage, Patrick McKeown, and works with Boards & Executive Teams globally.

Simon is a graduate of Flinders University and the Australian Institute of Company Directors (GAICD). He holds an Innovation Patent for the methodology and measurement of risk appetite (HARTS®).

Simon was a Torchbearer for the Sydney 2000 Olympics in recognition of services to the community.
