Tite is my nickname and I am a woman from the Dolomites, the stunning Italian Eastern Alps. Moving in the mountains since my childhood, I learned from experience in competitive sport (ice skating) that the safest and most effective way to move is the soft way and that it all starts with the way you breathe.

Moving from ice skating to endurance trail, sky running and ski mountaineering, all these pretty extreme sports were possible with a downregulating practice: yoga, which is not Hatha yoga only, but also Pranayama, the controlling (and stilling) of breath. I travelled many times to India to absorb the practice and the principles from BKS Iyengar himself until I became an Instructor in 2006. For 2 years in a row I also won the Mumbai Marathon for my age group and I am featured as athlete in the Italian edition of ‘Yoga for Sports’ by BKS Iyengar.

In 2019, when I was training for an ultra trail race in Nepal in the Annapurna region at 4000m and above, I decided to put the Oxygen Advantage principles into trial, and adopted the protocols for altitude training. It was a success, I didn’t have to acclimatize and I raced with no extra fatigue.

Since then, I have felt that my mission is to spread the principles of Oxygen Advantage into to the sport world, as they are the guidelines for a long sportlife.

I am founder of YOGAXRUNNERS project; the author of the volume ‘Yoga e Sport’ within the Yoga editorial collection by Corriere della Sera publishing house.

I am also Animal Flow Regional Leader and Menopause Fitness Coach.

You can practice with me in Italian, English and Spanish online and in person visiting me at the Dolomites Yoga Hut. Mantra: train to last.
