Tyler Hagen

I am an ultramarathon runner and mountain biker living and training in Colorado. Before I began focusing on trail running, I ran Division I cross country and track in college, and also qualified for the Boston Marathon. During this time I constantly riddled with injuries and tried everything to resolve them including physical therapy, chiropractic, acupuncture, rolfing, stretching, and foam rolling. Some of these modalities provided me with temporary relief, yet none of them were able to get down to the root cause of my injuries.

I eventually discovered The Oxygen Advantage and The Postural Restoration Institute and learned how breathing and movement are fundamentally connected. We as humans cannot move properly if we are not breathing properly

I am hoping to help people restore proper diaphragmatic function and break free from compensatory neuromuscular patterns to give them the opportunity to enjoy whatever their passions are without having to suffer from muscular or joint pain. I truly believe in the efficacy of breathing pattern and neuromuscular pattern retraining since both of these practices were able to help me get out of chronic pain and restore my quality of life
