GEORGIE LAWLOR
Georgie’s journey into breathwork began in the world of performance—not in sports, but on stage. As a professional actress and vocalist, she spent years mastering the skills of presenting to large audiences while developing a deep understanding of breath control for pre-performance preparation, physical endurance, vocal health, longevity, and hyper-focus.
Since discovering the power of the breath, Georgie has gone on to train as a physiotherapist, where she continues to pursue her passion for a female-informed approach to coaching breathwork and movement.

Oxygen Advantage® Breathing for Females consists of five in-person online lectures held on Zoom. Georgie will cover a mixture of theory and practice, giving you the chance to explore the breathing exercises for yourself.
Class 1: Understanding Female Breathing & Cycle Tracking

CLASS 1
CLASS 1: UNDERSTANDING YOUR MENSTRUAL CYCLE, FUNCTIONAL BREATHING BASICS, AND HOW TO KEEP TRACK USING YOUR BOLT SCORE.
Here, we cover menstrual cycle basics, along with some key differences between male and female physiology. We’ll also explore the potential influence hormonal fluctuations can have on your breathing and how to track your individual experience alongside your BOLT score. This will give you greater awareness of your own rhythms and patterns, setting you up for success as we go on to learn how to individually tailor the OA tools to your unique cycle.

CLASS 2
CLASS 2: FEMALE SPECIFIC FUNCTIONAL BREATHING AND THE POTENTIAL FOR BREATH TOOLS TO MEDIATE PAIN.
In class two, we get female specific with the three key pillars of functional breathing and learn to apply them to improve energy, focus, sleep and digestion.

CLASS 3
CLASS 3: DON’T LET STRESS MESS WITH YOUR CYCLE.
In class three, we talk about the potential stress has to mess with our hormones as women and what we can do about it through application of the OA down regulation techniques. We’ll also be exploring recent evidence around the possibility that our reproductive hormones can influence our ability to regulate stress.

CLASS 4
CLASS 4: OXYGEN ADVANTAGE SPORTS PERFORMANCE BREATHING (I) AND A MODEL TO TAILOR YOUR FITNESS PROTOCOL WITH HORMONAL FLUCTUATIONS.
Learn the basics of female specific sports performance breathing and how to adjust it according to your unique cycle / hormonal fluctuations. In this class, we also talk about the importance of recovery and using HRV and BOLT as intensity guides.
